Tom “ToooBad” Blanton

Tom is a Principal of the Blanton Investment Group (B.I.G.) a specialized services commodities brokerage company located in a northern suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. BIG are the creators, founders and producers of the “Annual Georgia Karaoke Music Awards” now in its 10th year November 12, 2006.

Tom is a veteran in the music and event management industries with more than twenty-five years of stage production and event planning experiences. He is an accomplished seasoned professional Event Planner and Trade Show Manager with proven success in both the business and entertainment market places. He has participated in local, state, national and international levels of many karaoke events which has given him a hands-on understanding and appreciation of the karaoke industry.

Tom has performed with several touring bands and has worked with recording artist such as Curtis Mayfield, Peaches & Herb, The Drifters, The Coasters, Joe Bataan and Gladys Knight to name a few. Tom is also a singer, songwriter and producer of the “BIG Compilation CD” – a 10 song compact disk of all original material. He also plays most rhythm instruments and is a frequent speaker at various trade show events while appearing in several industry publications.

Tom is also an Independent Associate with Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc of Ada Oklahoma.
